Sisterlove at the weekend in Amsterdam
After a long hot drive to Amsterdam, even it was only 5 hours away but seriously with my little car without air condition it was kind of tough, I finally arrived at Ming’s working place. The whole weekend was full of party, great gossip, meeting nice people and good girls talk with Ming. One of the highlights was definitely the Hawaiian Party even though the ending was very abrupt. Hey police from Amsterdam it was weekend and just a damn good party but thanks for dropping by, haha.

Anyways, next day we decided to cycle to the beach. After a long and also hot trip we finally made us comfortable at the beach and then the rain starts. But we had lots of fun in that cocktail bar nearby and also cycling back. I mean who can say I was at the beach when it was raining. And of course some sightseeing never missed.

I just wanna say thanks Ming for an unforgettable weekend and for showing me the city life at day and night! Can’t wait to see you in Berlin sister.

Travel update
Looks like after all the busyness at work and be stuck in my little hometown for a while there will be something coming up.
Firstly I will spend my weekend in Amsterdam. Even it’s only a 5 hour drive from my place in Germany I have never been there. So I’m very excited!! Also I will see my Chinese sister, Ming I missed you and can’t wait to have a fun weekend with you!
Then in two weeks Li’er is coming to Germany and I will have a chance to go to the best city in Germany, Berlin!! Can’t wait to be there and meet Li’er.
And finally I will spend the August in Peru. Wow I’ve never been to South America and this will probably one of the best experiences ever this year. So right know I’m learning some Spanish and also try to learn some Quechua, because I read that Quechua is the second official language there and is used by half of the population. Anyway, I’m curious and very excited to explore Peru!!
Just some thoughts about the situation in the Middle East right now. I’m sad what happened in Lebanon and Israel. When will people understand that war is not the answer? My thoughts are with every victim who had nothing to do with that in both countries. I’m angry that always the innocent people are the ones who suffer. Ok, it’s a heavy situation there and I know that I won’t really understand the whole Middle East conflict. But I’m unsatisfied with that and don’t think that there won’t be an answer for this in the future. We are all humans, right?

Thanks to the good German Team

We loose the game against Italy, so sad!!! I really thought the Germans will have a chance to be world champion. Anyway, thanks for the German team to entertain us so well the last month. It was absolutely awesome what was going on during the world cup here in Germany. Everybody was cheering for Germany and had a German flag; even so they were not football fans. The Americans probably cannot understand why it is so incredible that they were German flags just everywhere. But here in Germany it is not like in America because of our cruel history. That’s why I think it’s sad that the German team loose, but it is so good that the Germans don’t hide anymore. They told the world here we are and we are good people, the Second World War is not forgotten and we can’t change the past but we will make a better future and we still can be proud of our country.

The world cup was / is excited and a success and only that counts. It’s just a game and the German guys did everything they could, so be proud of them. The Italians were better at the end, so they deserved it to win. The next Europe Championship and World Cup will follow and then the German team will have another chance to show the world damn good football. :)
Special thanks to Lehmann who showed everybody that he is just as well as Kahn and I think even better!

My favourite player during the WC was Lahm with his great defence and his high ambitions to play offensive.

We are obviously incredibly disappointed. It was an even contest and both teams had their chances. Well done to the Italians. They were clever on the break and scored two lovely goals. We can still be proud of what we have achieved. (Miroslav KLOSE)
Of course we're disappointed and sad, because we had set our sights even higher. (David ODONKOR)
We ended up being punished right at the death. I've no doubt that it'll be tough to pick ourselves up again now, but it was great, the way the crowd still cheered us on when we went one down. (Bernd SCHNEIDER)
We just didn't take our chances. Everyone is really disappointed. (Christoph METZELDER)
Italy was simply that little bit tougher than the Argentineans. At the end of the day, we just couldn't quite raise our game. (Tim BOROWSKI)
We definitely want to win the Third Place match though. (Philippe LAHM)
That's just the way football is. (Lukas PODOLSKI)

Free like a bird
Friday:
YEAH Germany won against Argentina. It was for sure a thrilling game and for some minutes I thought that’s it, Argentina will make it. But then our best guy Klose did it, he tied the score and everybody was again excited. Finally Germany won the penalty and Juergen Klinsmann’s decision to elect Lehmann as his number one for this World Cup appears to be justified by this result alone. Italy be warned today will be our first game against you were we will win!!!

Saturday:
I finally did it!! My dream come true, free fall and flying like a bird. It was one of my first things what I ever wanted to do sometimes and then my boyfriend gave me for my birthday a gift certificate for tandem skydiving. I was sooo thrilled when I got it in May. And on Saturday the weather was perfect and I just felt today will be the right day to do it. It was just awesome and feelings cannot describe, just try it out. Seriously if everybody out there is thinking about it and is not sure, just do it and you will be impressed by the freedom you feel through the free fall!!
