LA CRASH

When you are moving at the speed of life, we are bound to collide with each other.

LA Crash is an awesome and emotional movie, about different cultures and people living together in LA. It is about the prejudices of different types of people, which means not only different cultures but also different looks of people.

The movie just hit me and especially the scenes with the little girl, who got an invisible coat from his father to protect her and with the black guy who always keep a Christopherus with one when he is driving a car.

Everybody should watch the movie to see the results of prejudices.

Form your own opinion about a person!

What is education? What is the best way to learn or to teach?

Mark Twain: I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.

Bill Beattie: The aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think, than what to think-rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men.

Plato: Do not train children to learning by force and harshness, but direct them to it by what amuses their minds, so that you may be better able to discover with accuracy the peculiar bent of the genius of each.

Thomas Carruthers: A teacher is one who makes himself progressively unnecessary.

John W. Gardner: Much education today is monumentally ineffective. All too often we are giving young people cut flowers when we should be teaching them to grow their own plants.

Mark Twain: Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.

Eleanor Roosevelt: Great minds discuss ideas, mediocre minds discuss events, small minds discuss personalities.

A weekend in Austria

What do you need if…
…you feel like going bananas?
…everything is just too much?
…and you really need a break?

You go skiing over Easter vacations, because…
…you will have fresh air around you the whole day.
…you will do exercise the whole day.
…you will have lots of parties with good friends.
…and you will have much fun.

So guess what I did last weekend?

Make the most of now!

What ever you do with your moments,
Bring out only the best,
And enjoy it, every single moment.
Make the most of now!

I just love this advertisement from Vodafone. It’s so motivating and full of life. It’s about a mayfly and how happy she is to just have one day to live. She can live every minute as a special moment, because she will never have that minute again. So people watch that spot and be grateful to just have a life. Make the best of it and be happy.

Check it out: www.vodafone.de/now Go to Kampagne and watch the TV Spot, the Making of and the Philosophie.
