Munich - the movie from Steven Spielberg

I was in the cinema at the weekend and saw that absolutely impressing movie. I'm still think about that issue, so here some thoughts about that...

Steven Spielberg asks with that movie if you can face violence with counter violence or if this just go to nowhere. The movie is about the no-ending story of Israel and Palestine, Jews against Moslems. The Israelis wants to kill all the Palestine’s who where involved in the assassination from Munich, where all the Israeli sportsmen died. But because of that the Palestine’s killed some Jews People again. So where and when will this end. It is even more a current issue after the Hamas won the election.
They are all humans doesn’t matter on which side. They all want to be a nation and want to have a home. The Jews who were persecuted their whole life and now they have a place on earth to live. And the Palestine’s who wants to have their home back. There is a scene in the movie where an Israeli and a Palestine talk about their ambitions for that “war”, just to have a place and a home.
Of course this movie is just a fictional movie with a non-fictional topic and beginning, but it doesn’t matter, important is just the simple intension: Violence is not the answer!

So it's worthwhile to watch the movie, even just to think about that topic and backround.

christmas, new year and a short review of 2005

my Christmas time was as always a lovely gathering with my family and friends from my hometown. The only exception for me was my Christmas last year in Michigan, thatswhy I enjoyed these Christmas even more. :)

After Christmas me, my boy and some friends decided to go skiing in Austria. It was absolutely awesome, so much snow and speed down the ski piste, woohee! New Years was as fun as the whole skiing trip was.

Just a short review of 2005 let me see how much I have travelled. Firstly my internship in Michigan until March and then two weeks of fun and travel around the US with my lovely sister (from Detroit to Ann Arbor to Chicago and back; then flying to San Fran including visit San Jose and finally flying to NYC)!!
Back at home my job search ended up very quick at my former company in the marketing department. I enjoyed the beautiful summer at home with all of my friends. I also travelled a lot in Germany to visit all my college friends, f.e. had my first Octoberfest visit.
Then my fab vacation in Namibia, you saw the pics...
And don't forget my changes in love and everything around that!

Let's see how 2006 will become for me. I have a good feeling and I'm looking forward for all the planned changes and the unplanned but often better things that will happen.

Life consists of following events important is just what you make of it!
